* The individual must be a junior to mid- level test engineer capable of executing all testing efforts.
* Development and implementation of test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts, as well as data collection, data analysis, and creation of test defects, summaries and reports.
* Must be able to work with the product development team to ensure testability is addressed throughout development, and must be able to gain a thorough understanding of the product and its key functions.
* White Box Testing of applications in the Geospatial Imagery domain. Working with development team understanding the design and code to be able to perform white box testing, write test drivers, perform path coverage testing, identify design deficiencies, and proper test data identification.
* Must provide effective test estimates for resources and staff-effort.
Minimum 2-5 years software test experience
* Excellent communication and writing skills.
* Software Testing Experiences
o Application and Library software testing
o Windows and Linux platforms
* Test Development
o Agile process and practice experience
o Support use of Software Engineering and Software Test Best Practices and Guidelines
o Object-oriented analysis and design skills
o Software Programming experience in Windows and Linux Environments
o C++/JAVA programming experience
o Scripting Language Experience (such as Python or PERL)
* Use of Tools and Equipment:
o Software version control and defect tracking systems
o Continuous Integration Tools (such as Hudson or Jenkins)
o Static code analysis tools for metrics and rules assessment
o Memory leak and code coverage tools
* Requires B.S. degree, preferably in Engineering or in a technical area of science and research with a minimum of 2 years experience or a MS degree with no experience.
* Must have an ACTIVE TS/SCI
Use Case Testing Methodology Experience
* Familiarity with Geospatial Imagery and/or Image Science fundamentals
* Experience with Subversion Configuration Management Tool
* Experience with Trac Defect Tracking Tool
