The following STUDENT position is a part of IBM Canada's EPIC (Employment Pathways to Interns Co-ops) Student Program. This position is only open to students registered in a Canadian University or College program, who have completed a minimum of 2 years of their degree or diploma program, and who MUST be returning to full-time study upon the completion of the temporary IBM work term. *This Student Position resides in Markham and is a 4 MONTH work term* JOB TITLE: Software Test Specialist Main Responsibilities include: This position is with the AppScan development team. The AppScan offerings allow users to find and remediate application security vulnerabilities. The successful candidate will be working in a highly Agile environment with developers and other test specialists Responsibilities include the design, evaluation and execution of test strategies to ensure AppScan offerings meet IBM's high standards for product quality and end user expectations for cutting edge capabilities. The work will involve test automation including both scripting and/or coding in a language like Java or C++. Qualification: Excellent technical and communication skills Scripting and coding experience (Java and/or C/C++) Passion for problem solving and delivering great work Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others Coop or internship program enrollment an asset.
