Collaborate with development teams to define test specifications and plans for new and existing functionality.
Responsible for setting up test environments, execution of tests in pre-live and live test environments, recording results and defects, and providing guidance to developers to reproduce problems and getting them resolved.
Create and execute automated test scripts, build test tools and harnesses.
Perform detailed root-cause-analysis of software issues to support efficient and effective diagnosis and resolution.
Technical Requirements
?At least 2 years commercial experience of software testing in a structured test environment.
?Expertise in one or more relevant programming languages:
[C# (preferable), or C++)].
A genuine interest finding innovative ways to break software.
?Good technical problem solving skills.
?At least a basic knowledge of SQL would be advantageous.
?Exposure to automated testing.
?Degree/HND in a technical discipline.
