Solution Architect – IAM
Our client, a leading logistics organisation are seeking a Solutions Architect to join the business through a period of change.
The Solution Architect should have a solid track record in enterprise solution analysis, design, implementation and recent experience in enterprise solution architecture. Foundation knowledge of 3-tier JEE based solution architecture is expected with specialisation in one or more of Service Oriented Architecture, Web Services and related standards, Business Intelligence and reporting tools, IBM WebSphere platforms, SAP platforms, Oracle platforms and others.
The specific project this Solution Architect position will be assigned is the Identity Access Management project. The project will establish a business role framework for structuring and implementing business role based access requirements as well as the associated provisioning processes for inducting users to the business systems.
The project will establish the IAM system inclusive of software and infrastructure platform to support the authentication and access control services as well as the IAM framework and provisioning processes.
Key Accountabilities;
- The Solution Architect defines the Solution Architecture of the Identity Access Management system and ensures (accountability) its successful implementation in accordance with the above.
- The Solution Architect reports (matrix primary) to Senior Director, Enterprise Architecture for project assignment, performance appraisal (project specific targets set jointly with the project manager) and competence development.
- The Solution Architect reports (matrix secondary) to the Identity Access Management project manager on a day to day basis for project scheduling and status reporting and works with the project team to support overall successful delivery
Candidate Requirements;
- Degree in IT, Computer Science or Engineering
- At least 8 years technical experience in enterprise systems analysis, design, development and implementation
- At least 3 years experience in enterprise solutions architecture and / or design, preferably in the logistics
- Experience in applying enterprise architecture principles, policies and standards to solution architecture and design
- JEE (Mandatory)
- Oracle DBMS (Mandatory)
- Modeling and diagramming for architecture, integration, data, etc (e.g UML, BPMN, ERD, etc with toolls preferred)
- XML, Web Services, EDIFACT, X12, PM4Data, Standards (at least 1; greatest coverage preferred)
- IBM WebSphere integration suite: Message Broker, WSRR, MQSI, WSPS, WSBM, Transformation Extender, Information Server, Tivoli ITCAM for SOA, etc (Greatest coverage preferred)
- MQ, RMI, JMS and JCA
- SAP XI/ PI and NetWeaver
- Knowledge of enterprise-scale SDLC's
- Experience in implementation of identity management systems on one or more top -tier identity management platforms such as Oracle Identity / Access Management suites, CA Siteminder, IBM Tivoli etc
- TOGAF, SOA certification, e.g IBM SOA Solution Designer
