Solution Architect (Java/J2EE) Job in Chicago, Illinois US
Seeking a true Architect/SOA for this role. need at least 6-7 years architecture in background, will work on multiple projects, 2 to start with. Will develop design and pass off to development team. No resource/people management, just core technical role. Heavy back-end memory/caching/J2EE. mid and large size co exp needed. need exp with: cacheing, detailed design, guiding data flow.
Must have J2EE and In Memory Data Base (IMDB) experience and wants to improve scalability/performance of existing structure. Products related to in memory include: HSQL, times time (previous vrs of HSQL), echache and coherence,(there are others as well- this is what UAL uses currently. This person needs exp w/distributed cacheing technologies. An understanding of algorythms, data structures, data modeling, object modeling, and SQL should be there.
The AJAX/XML is nice to have. This is 70% pure back-end, 30% front.
The project will start in Elk Grove Village but after two months will move downtown to Willis Tower.
