Solution Architect – Lead recruitment

Responsibilities

•         Manage Solution Architects as part of the programme delivery to design multiple solutions

•         Mentor Solution Architects by providing guidance on both technical and personal development aspects

•         Work with the Chief Architect to define and establish Solution Design and Architecture governance modules, structures and processes

•         Collaborate with Business Analysts and Business Domain Architects to explore business demand at concept stage. 

•         Work closely with application and infrastructure project teams to focus on high level designs and conceptual designs for project delivery.  

•         Consult with Enterprise Architects, other Solution Architect Leads and project teams to harmonise systems or infrastructure with the enterprise architecture

•         Ensure solution architecture design and analysis work is documented in a structured fashion matching the EA framework

•         Construct and promote application / infrastructure development and deployment standards and guidelines.

Requirements

•         University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines

•         Minimum 10 years of IT experience with at least 4 years hands-on project solution architecture

•         Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environment

•         Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders up to the executive level

•         Experience defining processes, methodologies or frameworks

•         Experience developing practices or disciples

•         Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

•         Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation

•         Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements

•         Ability to define multiple solution options to business problems

•         Ability to develop business cases

•         Knowledge of all aspects of enterprise architecture

•         Significant knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes

•         Significant knowledge of financial models and budgeting

•         Strong understanding of application development methodologies, SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, or client/server systems

•         Passion and ability to learn new technologies and their application
