Mandatory Skill-set
- Degree in Information Technology or equivalent;
- At least 10 - 15 years of experience and proven expertise solution architect in any of these areas: Enterprise Architecture, Sharepoint, Cloud, Storage, Data Management, Application, Infrastructure and Network;
- Strong working background to understand the business problems, need, or opportunity and to design an overall Solution Architecture to address the business problem, need;
- Good overall understanding of different technology stacks;
- Ability to understand in-depth and apply principles, theories, concepts and technologies to solve business issues/problems;
- Demonstrated proficiency in conceptualising and deriving common architectural designs across multiple sites;
- Possess strong analytical skills, having the ability to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues;
- Results and customer centric individual, having the ability to stay focused with strong sense of commitment and discipline;
- Visionary and can think out-of-the-box;
- Excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in verbal and written.
Desired Skill-set
- Hands-on experience in various technologies for the specific domain, i.e. Sharepoint Architect should have hands-on implementation experience in it;
- TOGAF Certification;
- PMP Certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide workable, efficient IT solution to solve real business problems;
- Document and maintain all architectural initiatives in line with the processes and standards stipulated for the purpose;
- Assess and evaluate emerging products in the market and work with companies/vendors to ensure that the product framework is aligned to the established standards, policies and guidelines;
- Work closely with different teams (can be across different locations) to ensure strict adherence to standard solution architecture methodology and be a part of the solution team for new initiatives;
- Interact with clients, regional teams, business units, third parties and prepare Architecture Roadmaps keeping in pace with the latest trends and technological innovations;
- Provide technical advice and propagate good practices to various teams;
- Involved in all SDLC phases and responsible for requirements traceability;
- Act as a technical expert for architectural reviews, design review, and technology selection with respect address problems related to system and application design, performance, integration, security, etc.;
- Develop and maintain relationships with appropriate vendors, including new technology selection for different projects;
- Creates high quality and creative solutions and proposals by performing impact assessments, identifying assumptions and risks and accurately estimating the time required;
- Assist the project teams during project implementation phase.
