Solution Architect recruitment

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop requirements and define target processes and architecture on which applications can be interfaced and built.

• Maintain appropriate TA Data models that ensure consumption and supply of financial data as required by FDS (Finance Data Standard)

• Liaise with the client (Financial Control, Financial Regulatory Reporting) to analyse and document the current business process model and capture of requirements.

• Undertake gap analysis between current and future states

• Familiarise the client with existing and new system functionality through production of documentation and/or training

• Organise and instigate appropriate business process transition training.

Job Requirements:

Education/Qualifications:

• University degree / post graduate or professional qualifications

• Qualified in either: ACA or CIMA

• PMI / Prince 2 Certified (Desirable not mandatory)

Essential Skills:

• Proven track record in delivery of detailed business requirements (process, business rules, data requirements. accounting schema rules)

• Proven analytical skills, Flexible approach.

• Business process re-engineering

• Used to working to tight deadlines and flagging potential problems at an early stage

• Strong presentation and documentation skills

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Skilled at problem solving and solution generation

• Comfortable with presenting and working at different levels within the bank to stakeholders across different functional areas with different views / perspectives

• Strong team player with the ability to take ownership and deliver independently.

• People management skills

Experience Required:

• Business Analysis within a Finance organisation

• Delivery of detailed requirements – Process, , business rules, data requirements

• Issue identification and root cause analysis

• Business process re-engineering, Transaction Accounting exposure

• Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project, Visio
