My client is a leading financial services organisation. They require an solution architect to assist with the consolidation of various stand alone payment reconciliation repositories. Currently the information resides in multiple systems.

* Assignment objectives
Responsible for defining and agreeing the architecture to meet the business solution.
Focus is primarily vertical on specific technology within Business Area.
Responsible for Systems, Data and Technical Architecture for the given solution.
Takes responsibility for physical data modelling as well as data integrity and design
Assists in the provision of resourcing and cost estimates for development work
Deal with business line managers and other business stakeholders within business area to agree solutions
Deal with GIT management and staff responsible for project and service delivery.
Operate under broad direction from a more senior architect from an architecture decision and policy perspective
May be required to support the development of solution business cases.
May be required to draft architecture principles, policies, standards and guidelines.
Required to apply approved Architecture principles, policies, standards and guidelines.

Additional information:
*5+ years experience in Technical design on the target architecture (if known).
*2+ years experience in using IBM System Architecture tools.
*Experience in data modelling.
*The following would be a significant advantage in this role:
Knowledge of payments/reconciliation systems.
Knowledge of correspondence systems
Demonstrated understanding of Enterprise Architecture.
Experience in payments reconciliation.
*Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
*High levels of commitment and energy, ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
*Ability to multi task on various assignments.
*Ability to gather and accurately document information.
*Good listening and questioning skills.
*Excellent communication skills (verbal written).
