Solution Designer / Design / Architecture

 

Business skills: Required

·         Business understanding; strategy, objectives, organisation structure and relationships, and detailed operations. 

·         Requirements management; Discussions or formal workshops with end users, and critically review and interpret business requirements.

·         Data and process modelling: An ability to carry out business data and process modelling

·         Interactions of all levels

Technical skills: Required

·         Experience of software architecture and systems integration. Extensive experience of enterprise systems and application integration across a variety of information management systems. The design, production and agreement of interface specifications with other parties.

·         Understanding of DBA roles for SQL Server and Oracle

·         Experience of C# and SQLServer Developer

·         Microsoft Server Enterprise Applications.

·         Microsoft Windows Server 2008.

·         Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory 2003 and network services including DHCP, WINS DNS, with a strong background in technical design.

Technical skills: Preferred

·         Good knowledge of storage and management technologies

·         VB / PowerShell scripting (preferable)

·         Microsoft IIS Server (preferable)

·         Awareness of Prince 2 and ITIL methodologies

6 Month contract at £240-254 per day
