Solutions Architect Homebased International Global Core Banking. Within Technology Consulting, a Solution Architecture Global Competency has been created to provide architectural and technical leadership to my client's customers and implementation teams. The role of Solution Architect (SA# is a senior one within Technical Consulting. It has responsibility for designing and communicating the technical solution to be delivered to customers, for ensuring this solution is optimally compatible with the agreed business solution and requirements, and for overseeing its integrity and viability throughout the delivery lifecycle. The solution may cover the entire product services footprint. It is intended that in time, the role will provide a platform for creation of strong technically-based customer relationships, opportunities and upsell. The Solution Architect; reports to the designated Regional or Global Competency Lead for Solution Architecture; Works mainly on client-billable engagements, plus some pre-sales assignments; Works with Lead Business Architect and Project Manager to give leadership to delivery engagements and build strong and influential customer relationships. We are looking individuals with demonstrated capability to perform this role, who will quickly develop “Impact and Influence” within Technical Consulting and with our strategic customers. The Solution Architect will; act as an architectural leader and trusted advisor to senior clients; develop viable technical solutions compatible with business solutions, agreed requirements, contractual obligations and project plans; be commercially astute when engaging and advising a client; lead or assist with bids and other presales engagements in a customer-facing style; Develop strong relationships with the sales and delivery account teams for specific customers; Take full accountability for the architectural solutions of designated delivery projects; Form and maintain strong relationships with colleagues in product development; Contribute to, and draw from, the re-use and knowledge management repositories of all competency areas and make meaningful and substantial contributions to developing the capability of the SA practice; Gain acknowledgement as an influential contributor to creating Consulting and Licence deals and opportunities. The successful candidate will demonstrate the above within banking, financial services, core banking, banking systems, software services background. You will also have; Strong knowledge of architectural methods, banking reference architecture and architectural roadmaps; Ability to apply recognised EA/SA frameworks, methods and tools; Formal architectural certification #eg TOGAF8 or 9); Deep, proven architecture experience and knowledge of a specific technology area, preferably IBM, Oracle or Microsoft based
