Solutions Architect

The Solution Architect will provide oversight of the development of technical solutions for the most complex business initiatives.  This includes working with a cross function team to define hardware, software, network and security solutions.

Responsibilities
• Strong visionary and able to implement strategies for success in meeting the department goals.
• Provides the strategy for the creation of processes and procedures with input from business teams, development, and IT Support.
• Maintains expertise in the application and use of systems, tools, and processes within the company’s scope
• Maintains a working knowledge of applications and system integration and is able to understand changes in order to anticipate cross-system or cross-process impacts.
• Promotes customer satisfaction and quality customer service for Clients and other departments.
• Ensures the representation of the department acts as delegate for the senior management.
• Effectively communicates the feasibility of requested deliverables and timelines to internal Business and Project Stakeholders.
• Responsible to ensure that industry best practices are applied to software development, infrastructure implementation and security.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in either: software design, development, hardware, infrastructure, design, implementation.
• Expert understanding of software development or ITIL processes.
• Proven ability in defining technical solutions for complex business problems that span multiple products and application (UI/middleware/Databases/Network/Server).
• Proven ability in defining scalable, reusable solutions.
• Superior oral and written communication skills. Ability to exhibit a commanding presence when necessary.
• Experience with a structured software development methodology and service-oriented design.
• Outstanding leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
