Solutions Architect with extensive Java / J2EE experience required to take on a challenging Solutions Architect role within one of the most prestigious financial organisations in the Country. Our client is building out their Solutions Architecture team and have an immediate requirement for an accomplished Solutions Architect to lead challenging projects. The successful Solutions Architect will work as part of talented team with an excellent reputation, so this is a great chance for an ambitious individual to progress and develop.

Applicants should have a strong background in Solutions Architecture and have extensive Java / J2EE experience. The Solutions Architect will work closely with key stakeholders in the business to understand and deliver against their requirements.

Applicants MUST have the following skills and experience;

- Strong experience of Java / J2EE
- Formal qualifications; Sun Java Certification (a relevant specialist honours degree in IT / business would also be an advantage) plus considerable practical experience.
- Experience managing teams of up to 5 direct reports
- Commitment to excellence and ability to rapidly establish a track record of delivery
- Confident communication skills, including ability to present and communicate with diverse and challenging [senior] stakeholders
- Consultancy background is highly desirable
