As a Solutions Architect Lead, you will work with other architects to ensure integration of software into existing environment. Work closely with development and architecture teams to understand infrastructure capacity and environment requirements for new developments. Develop and implement integrated IT solutions. Partner with peers to engage business aligned teams, and vendors in developing technology/product strategies and plans. Establish strategic guidelines that maximize value to the business. Advise on information systems activities such as infrastructure and architecture, applications development, and support, for one or more businesses. Provide high quality, cost effective services to clients within scope of responsibility. Oversee the business information systems activities while balancing technological and operational needs with financial control and communication needs. Establish and maintain working relationship with all businesses across Technology and technology team members. You will collaborate closely with clients in strategic planning and share accountability with them for benefit realization.
Skills and Requirements:
- Experience working on Internationalized applications
- Experience working on large scale project integrating large complex systems.
- Experience with large web application development
- You will be working with local and international business users and should be willing to work alternate hours
- Create business alliances, lead joint ventures with vendors and focus on leveraging knowledge capital.
- Provide mentoring and leadership to the organization, client, and junior members of the organization.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and promotes leverage of successful products and processes from across Technology
- Minimum of 5 years of in-depth knowledge of web technologies and messaging systems.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Solutions Architect for large scale applications.
- 5+ years experience with J2EE / Spring / Hibernate / Oracle
- Computer Science Degree or Technical equivalent
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Commercial Card banking business principals
- Strong written and verbal communications
- In-depth experience with external-facing webservices
- In-depth knowledge of security techniques for custom built software
- Solid Leadership experience in managing large cross-functional teams and the flexibility to influence people at a variety of levels internally and externally
- Demonstrated ability to simultaneously launch and advise multiple IT projects, supporting a number of customers on time and within budget
- Master Degree
