Solutions Architect-OpenPages
This role is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of design, development and deployment on project engagements. The Solution Architect will work closely with clients to determine and convert business requirements into an architecture and design that will become the blueprint for the client's solution. This role will also lead the delivery of technical solutions throughout each stage of the full systems lifecycle during the development and installation of software solutions and will be responsible for identifying any needed changes to the project scope, developing work plans, selecting resources and completing tasks in time and on budget. Required * At least 2 years experience in writing functional specifications * At least 2 years experience in Java development * Readiness to travel 50% travel annually * English: Fluent Preferred * Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics * At least 7 years experience in Customer Facing situations as an Architect for software solutions * At least 5 years experience in writing functional specifications * At least 5 years experience in Java development * At least 5 years experience in facilitating workshops with clients * At least 5 years experience in providing strategic direction on Enterprise Risk Management Additional information This role is responsible for * Combining technical expertise with advanced product experience to deliver complex solutions to solve business problems * Being the recognized leader in analyzing requirements and offering multiple optimal architectural and technical solutions. * Generating new business by identifying new opportunities with existing accounts and developing executive level contacts in the business community * Mentoring team members to develop domain expertise, client relationship skills, and technical skills IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
