Solutions Architect recruitment
My client is a financial services provider who due to continued period of growth are now currently hiring across the business and especially within their technology function
The role;
The Solutions Architect will work closely with key business stakeholders and architects to design best practice solutions to meet the business and strategic requirements
The successful candidate will more than likely have come from an Solutions Architect, Lead Architect or Developer background within a large IT department
Responsibilities;
- To ensure the applications implemented are aligned to the business operating model and IT strategy
- To assist in idea formulation through the provision of relevant solution options
- To lead delivery team members ensuring they conform to development methodologies and ensure the development within the team adhere to architectural standards.
- To shape the organisation of IT strategy
- Propose on which technologies should be implemented to suit a given need
- Software Engineering; provide proposals and define benefits for changing existing solutions and to support the aims of future organisation e.g quality, costs, risks etc
- Develop and owning the architecture
Required skills and experience;
- Strong skills in visual studio
- Strong demonstrable skills in architecting .Net applications
- Strong skills and experience in web architecture design and web development
- Willingness to earn new skills and technologies
