Solutions Business Director recruitment
A leading global provider of critical information to decision makers in the financial, legal, tax and accounting, scientific, healthcare, and media markets, powered by the world's most trusted news organisation is seeking a Solutions Business Director.
You will connect with the top 100 customers to identify and develop transformation engagements that help customers succeed by building competitive advantage in their key business transformations, cost restructuring and change programs.
You must have strong 'C-Suite' challenger skills and deep domain expertise coupled with a big picture understanding of the customer's business. You will have the ability to share valuable industry insight to customers at a senior level and align value propositions to key customer business initiatives. Some of the key industry practices you will have domain expertise in are:
* Electronic Trading Technology and distribution
* Investment Advisory services and Alpha generation
* Enterprise Data Management
* Governance, Risk and Compliance:
* Cost restructuring and elimination
The SBD's main objectives are to:
a) Lead Business Development and lead generation for a given customer/customer territory: build pipeline and pass-on opportunities to sales team for closure
b) Drive Material 'Power Deals' $2m+: detect and lead to closure two 'Power Deals'
Essential skills:
* Strong business development experience and strong business workflow experience
