As an HP Signature Partner and Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, our client is a leading specialist in the provision of managed services solutions for operating internet and enterprise applications. Due to their continued success and growth, they are currently looking to recruit a Solutions Consultant to join their Solution Consultancy team.

Joining our client's incredibly diverse, talented and committed team, you will be responsible for determining requirements and generating solution options for our client's sales prospects. You will particularly focus on complex opportunities requiring further elaboration in conjunction with the sales team.
Reporting to the Director of Service Strategy, you will be tasked with:
- taking part in pre-sales consultancy or advisory engagements to facilitate the development of sales opportunities
- contributing to the production of sales proposals, tender responses and presentations
- providing input to sales contract development and negotiation
- developing and maintaining a 'trusted advisor' relationship with prospects and clients
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- extensive IT managed services and outsourcing experience coupled with a broad technical background
- an excellent understanding of general IT operations and service management, including ITIL and relevant ISO standards
- solid sales and pre-sales experience
- experience in a 'lone consultant' role
As a Solutions Consultant, you must have excellent time management skills with the ability to carry a varied workload with minimal supervision. Capable of working with senior client-side IT management with confidence and credibility, you must also be a team player.
Previous experience as a Solutions Architect would be highly desirable, although not essential.
