The UK based SDC will work predominantly with Courion’s European customers, with the opportunity to work with Courion’s customers in other regions including the U.S.. The SDC manages all phases of solutions delivery lifecycle. The SDC plans and manages solution implementation projects in line with customer requirements. The SDC contributes his/her subject matter expertise appropriate to the various phases of a project.  Throughout the project the SDC leads Courion and/or partner resources to work with customer’s technical and operations staff. The SDC is expected to play an integral part in developing and maintaining Courion’s relationship with customer’s project/executive sponsor.

 

In managing solution delivery, the SDC uses an established methodology common to all Courion services engagements. The SDC is accountable for meeting project profitability with on-time completion of project milestones. The SDC is expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of Courion’s Professional Services best practices. The SDC may be called upon to take part in pre-sales activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Providing Subject Matter Expert consulting in the area of Access Assurance

·         Leveraging customer input to develop optimal solutions based on Courion’s product suite

·         Delivering project specifications and time / cost estimates

·         Guiding customers through Courion’s solution implementation methodology

·         Managing projects from inception to completion with accountability for successful implementation and meeting project financial goals

·         Documenting goals and accomplishments for each customer

·         Developing and maintaining relationships with customer executive sponsors, project managers and implementation teams

·         Managing and motivating team members to achieve business goals

·         Adding to the Professional Services best practices via templates and artifacts

·         Maintain target billable utilization rate, typically between 60% and 65%

 

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree with preferably a technical focus

·         Must have experience with large and complex enterprise software implementations, preferably in the areas of security or, more specifically provisioning, compliance and/or role management

·         10+ years of service account management business experience with the majority focused on enterprise application implementation and deployment

·         Strong project management experience

·         Experience in developing relationships with customers at an executive level

·         Identity management or Access Assurance industry experience is strongly preferred

·         Must be suitable for working on government projects that are subject to background security checks (UK resident for 3 years, financial and CRB checks, etc).

·         Must be highly articulate, energetic and accountable

·         Excellent writing skills and experience in generating consulting reports, and statements of work

·         Strong technical aptitude (information security, IT Operations, IT infrastructure)

·         Up to 50% travel on average (throughout UK and EMEA, and occasionally to Head office in the U.S.)

 

Also beneficial

·         Professional Services experience in software product company

·         Operations management experience in large enterprise IT environment

·         Working knowledge in one or more of these areas: Helpdesk, Networking or Database technologies
