Solvency II Data and Applications Project Manager recruitment
Role responsibilities:
• Responsible for ensuring the business has the data and systems it requires to deliver Solvency II implementation.
• Overall accountability for data and applications activity as a result of Solvency II Central point of ownership for on-going, maintenance and quality of work- stream assets.

• Working closely with Data and Application leads in other businesses and other SII work-streams to assure the timeliness, appropriateness and quality of data remediation activity throughout the Group.
• Identifying key risks and issues and escalating them in a timely fashion to the sponsor and relevant Steering Groups.
• Ownership of work-stream plans, tracking progress across all phases of the programme and all impacted businesses.
• Stakeholder management across Group and Regional stakeholders.
• Active participation in governance bodies.
• Active involvement in rollout of data governance to the regions to ensure consistency throughout the Group.
Experience/skills required:
• Experience of managing complex or regulatory change projects/solutions within the Financial Services industry (e.g. Basel II, FSA or IFRS reporting).
• Experience of delivering projects in an international environment preferred.
• Experience of project delivery within a programme environment preferred, and understanding of the cross-project issues, typically experienced within a large programme.
• Track record of successful involvement in Data Improvement and MI initiatives.
• Experience of General Insurance, and preferably familiarity with Insurance financial and management information.
• Awareness of SII, Basel or ICA compliance requirements.
• PM qualification such as PRINCE 2 preferred.
