Solvency II Manager/ Senior Manager recruitment
We are recruiting for a global consultancy who are market leaders in Assurance practice and are growing their capabilities within Solvency II. We are looking for individuals with strong understanding and experience with Solvency II within the Insurance market, from Senior Associate to Senior Manager grades.
We are looking for individuals who can develop opportunities and win new business, through marketing and sales activities and continual client contact programmes with senior client staff. You will also be expected to network with existing and prospective clients as well as internally across the company. Candidates will be confident in their ability to liaise with staff at all levels in order to lead projects and run work streams on large engagements on client sites. You will also be involved in people development focusing on mentoring and coaching including management of client facing team.
It is essential that you are a technically strong and have the proven ability to conduct technical research, responding to consultation papers from relevant regulatory bodies and providing input to the debate on application and development of policy. You will use your knowledge and experience of compliance with FSA regulation to identify and document key systems of control. You will be expected to prepare reports and make presentations on findings and recommendations to client management teams.
It is essential that you are educated to degree level coupled with an accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), along with prior exposure to insurance regulation with a strong understanding of risk management procedures and processes. You will have a good track record of implementing risk control frameworks and governance, the ability to understand, interpret and communicate complex regulation. Experience in project assurance, model assurance and validation as well as designing and reviewing disclosures and market communication strategy. You will also have experience with change management and stakeholder management.
