Sophis Risque Application Support Team Lead recruitment
City based Investment Bank seek a Sophis Risque Application Support Team Lead. Responsible for application support of all IT systems used by the Equity and Fund Derivatives and Commodities business area. Primarily support of Sophis Risque - portfolio position risk management system, GL Trade, Fidessa and UL Bridge electronic trading platforms and extending to all related technical components. Client Structured Products is a global business with systems in use and in need of support 24*5. Some flexibility in working hours is required in order to follow a shift rota. In addition, the ability to provide on call overnight support is a prerequisite. As the front line support desk for an active trading unit, the ability to work under pressure and find quick solutions to resolve problems is essential. The Team Lead role will be required to help manage the application support team, prepare reports and maintain records of work accomplishments. This person must have the people skills in order to handle any individual issues in the support group. Incident management and communications with the users. Booking of calls and resolutions in incident management system. Communication with the system vendors. Supporting the change management process as new releases go into production.

• Front Office investment banking experience.
• Senior Sophis Specialist with extensive Sophis Experience
• Equity Derivatives business knowledge
• Commodities business knowledge
• Sophis Risque application knowledge
• GL Trade – GL Win application knowledge
• Fidessa application knowledge
• UL Bridge system knowledge.
• Logical approach to problem solving
• Structured approach to documentation
• Strong inter-personal skills for customer and team management
