Sourcing Logistics Assistant Job
Job Responsibilities:
- Support buyers/sites in processing import orders as well as insuring all documentation within regulatory compliance and is attached to all import orders to be submitted to supplier and freight forwarders.
- Releasing off outline agreements through various transactional systems i.e. cSAP, SAP RP1, R2, Nexus.
- This role is specific to Contract Manufacturing; there is no buying included with this position.
- Supporting buyers with all of their requests, updating contracts, updating systems on pricing, and filling in for other team members out on vacation.
Job Qualifications:
- May prepare portfolio specific reports, corrective action, and metrics.
- Runs various reports for analysis.
- Maintains purchasing systems, ensuring they reflect current pricing and contract terms. Resolves exception notices and other invoicing disputes.
- Resolves supply problems or escalates these to the buyer.
- Maintains documentation and ensures follow-up for SL quality and SHEA requirements as needed.
- Places spot orders.
- May prepare draft purchase contracts from established formats.
- Procurement experience is a plus
- SAP experience is a must
- Drug Screen and Criminal/Work History Background Check required before start.
- Should have Purchasing/buying experience, SAP experience, MS Word and Excel, and strong customer service skills.
