Sous Chef

A wonderful neighbourhood brasserie in South West London now has a vacancy for a Sous Chef to join their small but passionate and friendly team.

The restaurant has been around for over 5 years now and has a loyal following. It is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves fresh, seasonal and British food. There is a brigade of 7 chefs and during the week lunches are fairly quiet but at weekends and evenings they can quite easily do 100 plus covers.

The owners and senior management team have developed a really nice place to work with a positive attitude. As a Sous chef you will work 7 shifts per week and will receive a salary of £24,000 per year. Anything over 7 shifts is paid overtime.

To apply for this role it is essential you have a good attitude, that you have experience dealing with large numbers of over 100 covers and that you can work in a high pressured environment. Ideally you will have worked in a top end brasserie and to at least a 1AA rosette standard.
