Sous Chef – Events

This leading events company base in central London is looking for a strong sous chef to assist in the managing of events and functions alongside the head chef

The company is very well known for delivering the highest standards in both food production and service. They have a number of sites across central London and have one of the main contracts for the 2012 London Olympics.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an already established company that is looking to become even more renowned for what they do. They also have a fine dining restaurant where they serve lunch and have only one evening of dinner service

As sous chef I would expect you to have hands on experience of managing small teams and being able to delegate to junior members of the team. You should have a good cooking ability and be able to work calmly under pressure. You should be aware of all current legislation such as COSHH and HACCP and be able to show good forward thinking skills in an array of situations as they arise.

The salary on offer is £26000 with a £2000 bonus paid quarterly over the year. Working mainly Monday to Friday depending on certain events
