Aberdeen Heights, a full continuum senior living community, offering independent living, assisted living, memory support and health care services, has an immediate need for a full time Sous Chef. Key requirements: Desire to work with the senior population and willingness to mingle with residents; possess strong leadership qualities, strong culinary background, outgoing personality and professional demeanor.
The Sous Chef supervises all food preparation and assists with creating seasonal menus. Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by complying with sanitation and federal, state, and local regulations. Actively involved with training and coaching staff to continually improve culinary skills.
Culinary education required. Serve Safe Certification required. Minimum 2 years related experience with managerial duties. Ability to work early morning or evening shifts with weekend rotation. Hospitality and guest orientated.
