South Island Regional Manager recruitment

Our client is a leading international risk specialist and insurance broker providing risk management services and solutions, servicing a wide range of companies and industries. A rare opportunity has arisen within their South Island operations for a high level insurance professional to lead their operations in the South Island. You'll be responsible for hands on management of one branch with the strategic overview of another with potentially more in the future. Your key focus will be the growth of their SME offerings, providing leadership and development of your team in order that you meet your objectives and you'll be responsible for the financial budgets of the region.

You'll possess a thorough understanding of all major classes of business, with a focus on SME and commercial business. Your proven people management, development and leadership skills will be second to none. You'll be sales focused and be instrumental in the growth of new business and will come with a proven track record on delivering new business. You'll lead by example and you'll possess clear strategic direction and inspiration for your team. Ideally you will have a understanding of the dynamics of the Christchurch market and possess a passion for making a difference.
