The Wealth Advisory team provides access to a full spectrum of wealth services, tailored advice, investments and facilities by client segment and risk profile.
To cater to the strategic vision of this dynamic business an opportunity has arisen for a Southern Regional Manager to join our Wealth Advisory team based in Melbourne.
Reporting to the National Manager, the Southern Regional Manager will be responsible for activity, revenue and compliance in the Southern region. Driving advocacy through business development, efficiency and managing internal and external stakeholder relationships are fundamental to success in this role. In addition this position will play an active role in supporting and developing the capability of each advisory practice through coaching and mentoring.
Key accountabilities of this role include:
- Responsible for achieving the Revenue, Investment and Risk targets for NPW Southern region
- Implementing processes to deliver greater efficiency, capacity and capability
- Maintaining control over expenses in line with expense budgets
- Implementing a consistent adviser fee for service model
- Tracking sales targets, PL and expense monitoring
- Ensuring concise and timely reporting to the leadership team on the performance of the Wealth Advisory business ? financial, activity and referrals
- Building customer loyalty and trust through a strong customer centric approach
- Strategic solutions focus
- Delivering quality services across the NPW group
- Managing a diverse range of stakeholder relationships including Risk Review Managers, Internal Specialists, Wealth Services Business Manager, National Manager, MLC Licensee, Customers and Professionals
- Developing and improving professional excellence through management of individual and team performance
- Responsible for team business plan creation and implementation
- Providing professional and ethical behaviour in your actions by ensuring compliance with external legislation, bank standards and internal operating policies and procedures relevant to the position
- Sales leadership, coaching, monitoring, supervision of direct reports to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their role to be compliant with FSRA requirements and external legislation in a professional and ethical manner.
To be considered for this role you will demonstrate expert financial planning knowledge and a sound understanding of the financial services industry regulatory environment. A minimum of 5 years experience in a planning or practice management related role, RG146 accreditations and a business related degree and/or post-graduate professional qualification are essential. With an intricate understanding of financial products and services you will possess outstanding interpersonal skills, strong negotiation and influencing abilities and the confidence to network for quality, growth and shared success.
