A reputable manufacturing company near Monroe, MI is looking for a Spanish speaking Senior Accountant (direct hire, full-time placement). The candidates chosen to interview will have a strong cost accounting, manufacturing background. This position is responsible for accounting functions from month end close through financial statements. Candidate chosen for the position will be responsible for conducting internal accounting audits to determine accuracy of accounting systems, associated with maintaining general ledger in Mexico facilities. The Senior Accountant will be a leader, comfortable with training individuals. To Qualify for the Senior Accountant Position Candidate must: * Speak Fluent Spanish * Willing to travel one week per month to Mexico * Have 5 to 7 years experience * Manufacturing/Cost Background preferred * Have good organization skills and be an effective communicator with personnel at all levels. * Must be physically able to freely access all areas of the plant and grounds. * Must be willing to travel to Mexico approximately 20% of the time (anticipate 1 week per month minimum) * Excellent in Word, Excel, Access
