SPANISH Fraud Prevention Appeals NightShift

Responsible for working Appeals queues, as well as other item processing related to ACH, Accounts Review, Charge Backs, Buyer Protection, Appeals, and/or Debit card on a daily basis when required.

Responsible for handling all Account Maintenance functions including password mailings, name changes, etc. when required.

Effectively identify problems and issues by performing relevant research using the appropriate tools.

Analyze account history and trends to take appropriate action on accounts.

Review PayPal accounts and determine the legitimacy of the account and account holder and associated risk. Methods to accomplish this include reviewing documentation including: driver's licenses, credit card statements, bank account statements, utility bills, transaction history, other fraud indicators, etc, various websites to confirm information on an account, message and customer history in Kana, and account information in Admin tools.

Knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and education required to perform job.
Demonstrated initiative and well developed sense of urgency and follow through.
Ability to work independently and practice sound judgment.

Ability to make discretionary decisions based on research.

A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Leadership and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Ability to help customer understand and navigate the PayPal site product.
Demonstrate patience and a customer centric, professional approach over the phone and in writing. Capable of achieving quantitative and qualitative goals.

Competent using: Admin Tools, ATTACK, EuroKana, Aspect phone system, PDA, Kronos, MS Outlook,Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Ability to escalate appropriately to Fraud Investigations.

Fluency in English Spanish
