Position Title: Spanish Translator Reports to: Shift Supervisor and PM Position Overview: - Listen to live intercepted calls in Spanish - Id speakers in phone calls, provide verbal interpretation of what is being said to case agent. - Write a detailed summary of phone conversation. - Work on transcription and translation of intercepted calls. - Check and confirm speakers of intercepted calls are correctly identified. - Listen and revise the session synopsis for clarity, and accuracy of translation, and consistency and uniformity of terms, codes, nick names, and aka's. - Revise spelling and grammar in the synopsis. - Confirm "Classification Status" for correct classification of intercept. - Confirm all fields are properly completed. - Revise intercepted associated number to ensure it has been recognized as used by the identified speaker. - Marked session as completed - Review of non pertinent calls - Keep record of voice ID and Voice Library. Requirements: Knowledge: Native or near native Spanish language level. Translation, transcription, interpreting and intel skills. Good writing skills. Skills: Cross-functional, Cross-cultural and Multitasking skills. Abilities: Be flexible to project schedule change requests and the possibility of working on weekends on a rotating basis. Education: Bachelors Degree or at least two years of experience in similar position.
