Special Analytics and Investigation Group
The Special Analytics and Investigations Group within Operational Risk Control is looking to recruit an analyst in London. The team is responsible to:
(i) perform ad-hoc forensic analysis, quite often on high profile projects and reviews.
(ii) perform forward looking and novel analysis to highlight potential areas of operational risk not yet well covered
(iii) develop and implement novel ways of testing the controls in place within UBS
As a small and dynamic team, team members are expected to contribute to all dimensions of the team's activity, each one of them leveraging their own unique skillset.
The profile that we are currently looking to recruit would be as follows:
- Familiar with statistics / data analysis, along the lines of what would be expected for a junior "data scientist" role.
- Familiar with aspects of the financial industry and ideally capital markets
- Familiar with basic concepts of operational risk management.
We appreciate that the combination of skills above is fairly unique and therefore also encourage application from motivated candidates meeting only partially our profile description and strongly motivated to learn.
