Rate of Pay: $10-$12/hourly

 

TechniArt, Inc., an ENERGY STAR® partner, is immediately seeking an energetic, reliable candidate with a strong sales support background, and knowledge of ENERGY STAR rated lighting products. The candidate must enjoy working with and meeting new people, be comfortable working in a fun and fast-paced environment, be able to work a flexible schedule, and must be trustworthy, punctual and pleasant to be around. You will report directly to the Program Manager, and travel via company vehicle from our warehouse in Farmington to Energy Saving Lighting Fair events in Massachusetts to provide event and sales support. You may also be asked to assist at other events in the New England area.

 

REQUIRED job duties include:

 

• Assisting staff with packing/loading inventory for events at the warehouse

• Bagging/distributing merchandise at events for customers

• Load-in/load-out of inventory at events

• Assisting in direct sales

• Operating the cash register

 

In addition to the above duties, we are also seeking candidates who can drive a 24 foot box truck, and who have experience operating a pallet jack and moving inventory. You must have a clean driving record.

 

The hours may be long for some events, but overtime will be paid, and you will be paid for travel time to and from the warehouse. Dress code for events is casual – polo shirts, khakis and sneakers. Occasional overnight stays may be necessary; hotel accommodations and meals will be provided. We will provide paid event training if you are selected for this position.
