As a Special Projects Associate you will take ambiguous, undefined problems, break them down to their core elements, collaborate with the relevant specialists to design solutions, and implement those solutions.
Responsibilities
- Structure complex, ambiguous, and at times impossible (open-ended) problems
- Question common practices, foresee potential problems and develop insightful recommendations
- Drive the execution of cross company initiatives quickly and with flawless accuracy
- Build relationships across the company and become a trusted collaborator with business leads
- Re-enforce the company culture by ensuring the engineering mindset is applied to every problem across Palantir
Requirements
- Intellectual horsepower, creativity and problem solving prowess
- Strong intuition and business judgment
- Strong quantitative skills, particularly building complex Excel models and/or understanding of business systems (Salesforce, Netsuite)
- Ability to build durable relationships and to manage conflict
- Passion for driving operational efficiency, process optimization and managing evolving group/system dynamics
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
