SPECIAL PUBLICATIONS/MARKETING ASSISTANT
The Buffalo News has an exceptional opportunity for a Special Publications/ Marketing Assistant to join our team! This opportunity involves supporting, from inception through completion, the research, marketing and administration of specialty publications as well as assisting with promotional support for special publications within TBN.
The Special Publications/Marketing Assistant will market our array of products using print, online, event marketing and social media applications and help measure reader and advertiser success. The position will also be responsible for gathering and modifying information to assist in our database marketing efforts.
The ideal candidate must be very detail oriented, proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and Social Media applications. You must be able to take direction in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, jump in, and have the ability to anticipate the next step. Candidates must also be able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
BS/BA degree in Business, Marketing or a related field and 2-4 years experience is required.
