The Research Technology team within Tetra Pak Processing Systems has a global role to drive advanced development projects of new technology and production concepts and to extend our organizations knowledge about food processing. Many of our development projects are complex and are run together with customers, industrial partners and/or universities. The Research Technology team consists of project managers and specialists. The specialists of the team also participate in product development projects driven in Tetra Pak product companies. 
We are now recruiting a Specialist in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) who will be part of the Research Technology team in Tetra Pak Processing Systems. You will participate in core teams driving Technology Development and Product Development projects. You will also create operational plans as well as spread knowledge and information about CFD and its use to dedicated groups and stakeholders. You will be the only specialist in CFD in Tetra Pak Processing Systems but will be in close contact with other members of the CFD community in Tetra Pak to develop our CFD platform.
This position is based in Lund and requires travelling up to 20%.
 
Main responsibilities
•  Be part of project core teams and contribute with the CFD objectives from studies and modelling in development projects
•  With model inputs, plan and perform CFD analysis or order equivalent from external suppliers, perform post-processing, documentation and presentation of CFD data
• Together with senior CFD analysis specialists develop and support methods for comparison of experimental data and results
• Manage all the CFD related applications of the Cluster for Tetra Pak Processing Solutions
• Be updated on new developments in the CFD community, and communicate relevant knowledge and information to stakeholders in the organization
• Own and maintain the operational plan for development of CFD to a successful tool in Tetra Pak Processing Solutions

The successful candidate has strong analytical skills, a problem solving approach and at the same time a good mind for planning and excellent communication skills. You have the interest and ability to deliver results in time with the right quality and can see the benefits of collaborating with other members of a project core team.

You have a university degree specialising in fluid dynamics and experience from performing analysis in commercial CFD programs such as STAR-CCM+ or Ansys Fluent. We also believe you have experience in presenting complicated results and topics to technical staff as well as management. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and have knowledge in Microsoft Office products.
