Job Summary:
Supports the field marketing organization by: Providing marketing support to the Area Marketing Manager. Interfaces both internally and externally with Field Sales/Operations/Marketing organizations and Corporate Field Marketing. Monitor and track all local marketing budgets event planning program analysis and auditing promotional tracking and generate reports/summaries of key initiatives.
Essential Functions:
1) Event marketing support
Working with the AMM secure and plan for local market events including: developing a budget processing payment scheduling staffing and/or street teams if needed program communication set goals for events (metrics) event execution and after event evaluation/measurement.
2) Marketing Budget
Working with the AMM track local marketing spending. Reconcile the spend and forecast monthly and quarterly.
3) Retail Merchandising
Working with the AMM corporate marketing and the sales coordinators maintain the retail merchandising in the corporate stores premier dealer and standard dealer locations.
Understand what materials are being created and printed at corporate and what the local market is responsible for.
Work in the field to audit locations and provide support to the sales coordinators when necessary.
4) General reporting support to AMM
Maintain information on marketing programs and events such as budgets results contact information etc.
Report on marketing programs as they relate to key company metrics
5) Maintain and protect the Cricket Brand in the market
Provide guidance to the local market to ensure that brand standards are being followed.
Incorporate the Cricket brand standards into all local marketing efforts.
Education:
Required: Bachelors Degree or relevant work experience
Preferred: Bachelors Degree
Industry Experience:
Required: Sales and/or Marketing Support experience in the areas of National Accounts and Indirect Channel Distribution. Sales and/or Marketing Support experience in the areas of National Accounts and Indirect Channel Distribution
Preferred: Wireless Industry and/or Technology Based Organizations
Job Experience:
Required: 5-7 years experience in a sales/marketing support role to assist sales team. 3 years experience providing customer service to internal and external customers. Experience in creating presentations processing work orders generating reports and making customer visits. Experience in planning an executing Marketing/Sales Events. Experience extracting information form various database systems and compiling reports from information gathered. Experience in facilitating training on programs process procedures to internal and external customers. Experience managing projects with an emphasis on timely and cost-effective deliverables. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience tracking budgets and utilizing reporting tools. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software products including Word Excel and PowerPoint.
