A Schneider Transportation Management Specialized Carrier Sales Executive: 1. Secures third party capacity for all loads within the specialized market 2. Handles extensive rate negotiation on a daily basis. 3. Owns responsibility for a group of carriers. 4. Networks with internal Sales Associates on matching capacity with available loads 5. Monitors daily progress of our third party carriers. Obtains timely updates from the carriers to ensure our loads are in the proper status. 7. Monitors and updates third party insurance requirements. 8. Obtains billing information from third party capacity to ensure we properly bill our customers. 9. Sources new carriers to add to our carrier base. Ensures the carrier has proper operating authority and insurance as well as understands the carriers freight needs. 10. Assists in coverage of overflow Schneider National freight when applicable.
