Job Description Specialized Travel Counselor - Bellevue, WA-1203325 Description Senior level travel counselor for key account: Will be responsible for timely and accurate servicing of American Express Business Travel arrangements for corporate travelers. Will ensure top level customer service through effective use of the Apollo GDS, associated tools as well as online navigation and support, while maintaining excellent telephone service techniques and prompt replies to emails. Handle 70% international and 30% specialized domestic travel related requests and process air, hotel, car and misc. requests. Counsel clients on efficient routes, lowest available fares, passport and visa requirements and American Express travel products and services. Act as a customer liaison between client corporation and client contracted and American Express preferred suppliers. Additional duties include, but are not limited to customer service issue research,follow-up and resolution, International/domestic ticketing and special project requests. Minimum 5 years experience in the travel industry Must have minimum 3 years international experience Proficient in Apollo and email applications Extensive International faring, construction of complex itineraries and destination knowledge is required International ticketing/exchange experience is a plus Stellar customer service skills to uphold Blue Box Values and Customer Care Principals of the American Express Brand This position requires decisiveness, attention to detail, superior written and verbal communication skills Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and be a self starter is a must Strong teamwork and flexibility Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Office a plus Job: Travel Primary Location: US-Washington-Bellevue Schedule: Full-time
