Job Title: Business Development Manager
Responsible to: Sales Director
Location / Area: South East - London, North and South Home Counties
Basic Salary: Open to negotiation for the right candidate (do not discount on salary)
Bonus Scheme: 30 % potential
Benefits: Car Allowance (£500 per month + Fuel, company will rent a car for 1st 6 months if needed to allow bedding in period), phone, healthcare, pension
Principle Responsibilities: You will be responsible gaining specification with Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Councils, Private Sector House Builders, Consultants, Architects and some major contractors for the companies entire product range.
You will work with the local sales team to identify future projects at the earliest stage and then target the decision maker selling the companies range on features and benefits and not price.
You will manage projects with local sales team to ensure a first class service is delivered throughout.
Ideal Candidate: An experienced sales professional within electrical manufacturing with a proven track record of success within specification.
It would be expected that you would have an established contact base including some of the main decision makers in the target customer base.
Knowledge and experience of the company’s product ranges would be an advantage however this is not essential provided you have experience of selling a related product and possess the technical ability to learn new products quickly.
Our customer is looking for a professional sales person with tenacity, drive, desire, ambition, excellent negotiation presentation skills and an assertive nature.
The ability to work in a business which is growing at an exceptional rate and the change that brings is a must.
