Pentair"€™s Engineered Flow GBU is a global leader in mid-to-large fluid management products and applications. The business delivers a range of products from the world"€™s largest flood control pumps to sophisticated fire and HVAC pumps and products in the municipal, industrial, and commercial markets. Pentair Engineered Flow brands include Myers, Aurora, Hydromatic, Fairbanks Morse, and Delta Environmental.


Analyzes and interpreters a wide variety of product orders. Prepares basic submittal. Prepares general work orders and parts lists for the product sold. Normally works on orders of a complex, non-standard quoted orders that require extensive analysis.

Required Skills:

- Works with wide variety of complex, non-standard quoted orders.

- Requisitions vendor items as required by the order. Receives vendor submittal and reviews for compliance.

- Prepares requests for technical data (Order Routers) to be supplied by Product Engineering such as but not limited to performance curves, special part drawings, bearing life etc.

- Attends transfer meetings with AE"€™s, Contract Administrators, Engineers and Buyers to facilitate the processing of sold orders.

- Routinely analyzes job specifications for compatibility with sold order and factory quote. Compares entered order with specifications and lists discrepancies for clarification. Determines what is needed for submittal and requests information when not available. Requests technical data from engineering or drafting.

- Prepares submittal package in accordance with specification requests and sold order using submittal templates available. Reviews setting plans, assembly drawings, technical data and material lists for compliance with sold order. Adds vendor submittal. Prepares a list of clarifications and exceptions and includes in submittal.

- Processes work order parts lists and routings to comply with sold order. If necessary requests special parts from engineering/drafting. Prepares pre-releases as required. Prepares change orders when requested to do so.

- May prepare complex as-built OM manuals.

- Self motivated to ensures accurate, timely completion of order requirements to maintain department schedules and to meet customer shipping dates.

- Assists in training of new personnel as assigned.

- Works with Order Entry, Purchasing, Drafting/Engineering, Application Engineering and Contract Administration to accurately process customer orders.

- Is familiar with standard and non-standard construction of each product line as listed and specified in product catalogs and price pages.

- May check orders prepared by other associates as required.

- Assists in maintenance of master submittal templates, configurator rules and modules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Computer literacy required in MS Word, Excel.

- Working knowledge of Auto-Cad.

- Working knowledge of Pro-E is a plus.

- Good oral and writing skills.

- Strong analytical ability.

- Good organizational skills.

- High school education required. Two year technical degree minimum or four year degree preferred.

- Self motivated with excellent work ethics
