Position Description:
Farmers Insurance Group of Companies, the country's third-largest insurer of both private Personal Lines passenger automobile and homeowners insurance, is looking for a Sponsorship Account Manager to join our team.
This position, based in Westlake Village will play an exciting role in the expansion of our Sports Marketing and Sponsorship activities. This position works on the planning and execution of corporate sponsorship programs, collaborating with our activation agencies on planning, activation elements and budget reconciliation. The position also is responsible for administrative functions as assigned.
Position Requirements:
The candidate will have 1 - 2 years of experience in sports marketing and sports sponsorships. Also experience working with an Activation Agency is strongly preferred. Candidates with creative, unique approaches to traditional issues will are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will have experience in event planning, meeting planning or in travel and hospitality.
Candidate must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time and be willing to work a non-traditional schedule, as many events are on weekends.
The candidate should be familiar with budget tracking and resource allocation.
