If you have 3 - 5 years daily newspaper experience and proven reporting writing abilities, this just may be the job for you! We are looking for a sports reporter to cover the University of Florida sports beat for print and digital media. Coverage goes beyond covering games and will include enterprise and some investigative reporting, daily blogging, video, and timely and breaking news posts. Must be able to adhere to strict and tight deadlines and work well in a team environment. Must work with editors, designers, photographers and artists on story presentation. Must have the ability to communicate with a variety of sources and work professionally with the public while on assignment, serving as an exemplary representative of the company. Must be able to work flexible hours and on weekends, have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
