Spotfire Developer
The primary focus of the Spotfire Developer role is to develop and support Spotfire Visualizations, Analytics, Dashboards and Reports for the Front Office. The candidate will work in conjunction with the business and other OCPT IT team members to understand the business requirements alongside the enterprise data architecture in order to create business intelligence design and develop reports and dashboards in Spotfire.
• Analyze existing complex systems to understand and document data elements, relationships, data flows, dependencies and related interfaces
• Hands on professional with thorough knowledge of scripting, data source integration and advanced GUI development in Spotfire
• Strong hands-on working knowledge of Tibco Spotfire architecture including Spotfire Professional, Spotfire Web Player, Spotfire Developer SDK, Spotfire Server, Spotfire Automation Services, Spotfire Application Data Services, and Tibco Business Events
• Extensive experience in using Spotfire to automate the creation and delivery of analytics in a rich, contextual and interoperable enterprise framework
• Demonstrated experience in designing and deploying solutions which utilize Spotfire’s hybrid in-memory/ in-database analytics architecture to support the most demanding enterprise needs, scaling to thousands of users and limitless rows of data
• Gather customer business and technical requirements and write high-quality technical documents
• Perform comprehensive BI and DWH systems evaluations and perform system testing
• Manage multiple tasks, status reporting
• Must have good analytical and communication skills
• Advanced experience in using Composite for Data Integration with Spotfire
• Perform detailed analysis of source systems and source system data, and model that data in a Spotfire environment
