Job Description SPP Sales Coordinator: 838821 Job Summary This position will source and price merchandise not currently found in client programs. This position will work with both ad specialties and apparel. Responsibilities - Coordinate requests for special imprint items that come directly from clients, the Client Support Services Department and SPP Sales Reps - Source items; negotiate prices and order samples as needed - Prepare quotes by determining margins, rebates and royalties. Respond to appropriate person with pricing - Prepare orders and generate necessary paperwork for order processing - Handle inquiries regarding ship dates, changes on orders, defective merchandise, and tracers - Attend vendor meetings and shows to remain current on industry trends and product knowledge - Perform miscellaneous duties and assist others in department as directed by supervisor Qualifications Qualifications - 2-4 years relevant work experience - Experience in advertising specialty industry a plus - Self-motivated - Excellent customer service and phone skills - Ability to generate sales - Develop and maintain positive customer relations - Computer proficient with Microsoft Office products - Knowledge of the ESP program a plus Job: Sales/Telesales Location(s): US-KS-Overland Park Schedule: Full-time Job Level: Non-Manager Shift: Day Job Job Type: Entry Level Employment Statement Staples is an Equal Opportunity Employer who values the diversity of our people, products, and services.
