SpR Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Hays Healthcare is currently working with a clinically led Trust that is recognised as one of the top performing and financially secure NHS organisations in the UK. The Trust is looking to recruit a Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

The Trust was awarded foundation status in 2005 and was named best hospital Trust in the country at the Health Service Journal Awards 2006 ceremony in November 2006.

The Trust primarily serves the communities of Birmingham, Solihull and South Staffordshire, but provides more specialist care to patients from throughout the Midlands. Following the merger with a neighbouring NHS Trust in 2007, the Trust now has a turnover in excess of £450 million, 10,500 employees, and sees over a million patients a year across its four main sites. It also has an established and well-recognised teaching hospital function. The Trust is the largest provider of maternity services in the West Midlands, with over 11,000 births over three sites. The policies and procedures relating to obstetrics are harmonised across all three obstetric units in line with CNST Level 3 standards.
