Spread Sheet Analyst recruitment

Conducting and documenting project related analyses; articulation of business requirements, workshops regarding the central solutions for aggregation/adjustment and reporting of the new Capital calculations and Leverage Ratios

• Process analysis, mapping, documentation

• Preparation and communication of business requirements

• Design and development of complex spreadsheet models for reporting creating automated links to external data sources

• Preparation of further process and procedure documentation as required

• Preparation, planning and Coordination of testing

• Training of end users

• Sundry ad hoc support and troubleshooting as required

Essential

• A proven track record in delivering successful process re-engineering, change management, and developing complex spreadsheet based reporting models in a financial reporting environment.

• Excellent analytical/consulting skills.

• IT technical skills; Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Databases (Advanced with macro development).

• Characteristics; attention to detail, concern for quality, ability to multi-task, assertive, customer focused.

• Interpersonal skills; communication (written, oral, presentation)

Preferred

• Experience in regulatory reporting – Capital Supply

• Experience of Hyperion HFM or Essbase

• A formal academic or professional qualification in Accountancy .

• Process orientation and knowledge of SOX.

• Training in a structured systems development and project management methodologies e.g. Prince 2.
