SPV Accountant recruitment
Prestigious global bank seeks qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with experience of accounting for financial instruments, particularly SPV/VIE/SPE products under USGAAP and knowledge of IFRS.
This is a fixed term contract carrying specific responsibility for undertaking independent assessment of special purpose vehicles under USGAAP and working with front office in the SPE/VIE assessment and reporting process. The role will involve assessing new entities and re-examining existing entities, and the successful candidate will demonstrate a knowledge of USGAAP requirements regarding consolidation of special purpose vehicles/entities.
Applicants will have a good knowledge of the banking environment and will have ideally worked on IFRS conversions. Superior communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
