An SQL DBA is required to join the global leader in talent measurement. The successful SQL DBA will join a company with unrivalled assessment science and People Intelligence that give customers the actionable insight they need to make the intelligent talent acquisition. The SQL DBA will work on business critical systems where you will design, install, monitor, maintain and performance tune production databases while ensuring high levels of data availability.
The successful SQL DBA's responsibilities will include but not be limited to: assess and develop long-term strategic goals for production databases in conjunction with data owners and department managers, work with application development staff to develop database architectures and coding standards, design and implement redundant systems and procedures for disaster recovery purposes to ensure integrity of data assets, create models for new database development and changes to existing ones, install and configure relevant network components to ensure database access and consistency, monitor database system details within the database including stored procedures and perform database transaction and security audits.
The successful SQL DBA's responsibilities will be ideally degree educated in computer science with an MCITP certification. You will have strong experience of database structures and will have worked with SQL 2005 and 2008 solutions within enterprise technical environments. The role will involve working on-call at times and you must be prepared to do some infrequent travel.
