DBA / Database Administrator - SQL Server 2005 / 2008 - Surrey - £45k
DBA / Database Administrator with strong SQL Server 2005 / 2008 skills with DB2 DBA skills (or a desire to work with DB2) required for leading insurance organisation based in Surrey. The role has become available due to organic growth.
The Database systems support various mission critical business applications. The DBA will provide both project and production DBA support with various duties such as configuration, management and administration. The more high level duties will be upgrades, migrations and performance tuning of the DB systems. The DBA will also be instrumental in implementing new disaster recovery, security and backup procedures.
Key Skills:
- SQL Server 2005 / 2008 (Essential you are a strong SQL DBA)
- DB2 (Desire to work with DB2, not necessarily have commercial experience)
